   At my office, I am on a local network (Small Business Server 2003).
   I am running WAMP ('localhost') to design a website. I now want to show this WordPress website to a client on the other side of the country.

   I tried to click 'Put Online' in WAMP but when I enter my external IP in my browser I get a 400 BAD REQUEST.

   I rather not mess around with any router forwarding settings in my company's network. Is there any other way I can share a Worpdress website without putting it 'live' on the web?

   Why don't you just put it up on the web under a demo url and password protect the directory it's in with .htaccess?
