show top authors of the week or month

    I am running a multiple author news website in word press. I am using Top Authors plug-in to show the top authors. This plugin counts the number of post posted by the authors and arrange them in order where the most number of article poster is at the top following the least posters.

    I want to know whether there is a way to control the range of time period, so I can show my visitors top authors of the week or top authors of the month… something like this…

    I could use this as well. In the plugin description I read you can sort by week or month, but I don’t see the options. How do you set that up?

    This is not (yet) a function in the plugin, it is not in the description.
    Problem witch week and month query’s is that it’s database heavy.

    I’ve got this feature request a few times.. I’ll try to dive into it, but can’t promise anything.

    Can you please take a look at the site. The Top Authors plugin makes every widget below it (in the sidebar) nested…How can I change that? Thanks
