Show subheadings on post & page admin lists (8 posts)

I'm using the Subheadings plugin on a site, it words very well, but I have one request. Do you think you could make the plugin show the subheadings on the post & page lists in the WP admin area? That would make it easier to distinguish between posts.

For instance I have a couple of posts that have the same title, but different subheadings, but i can't tell that when I'm viewing the list of posts in the admin.

I'll add this to my task list and try to fit it in as soon as possible for you, hopefully within a few days.

Another idea. Would you be able to add the subheadings to RSS feeds as well?

Ok, finally managed to start taking a look into this earlier, looks like it's not so easy to hook into the admin posts / pages list view.

I'll keep digging, but if you or anyone else knows how best to achieve this then I'm all ears.

I have however hooked in the subheading to the RSS feeds (version 0.3). It's appended to the post title, using a hyphen to separate (Main Heading - Subheading).

    Back again.

Finally discovered a way of modifying the admin list of pages and posts, despite the lack of documentation on this.

I'm in the process of testing my modifications, hopefully the update will be released in the next day or so.

This works now, but it is disrupting the admin columns created by other plugins. Any idea if this can be fixed?

    Hi again,

I think I've got this fixed on my development version.

Any chance you could give me the names of one or two of the plugins you're using that also add columns, so I can check before subverting the fix?

    Cheers :)
