Show specific category on a subpage. How? (2 posts)

    So I have two main categories on my page: Blog & Portfolio. I want to have these two categories seperated from each other, which means the posts categorized as blog will appear on the frontpage and posts categorized in portfolio on a subpage.

    After quite some hours of googling I found the solution to only display the blogposts on the front page, but now I'm struggling to make the portfolio section work.

    I want a subpage called "Portfolio" where all the posts of that category are in, looking just like the frontpage. How does that work?

    You could:

    1) Link to the Portfolio category page in your navigation menu.

    2) Create a custom page template that only queries posts in the Portfolio category, e.g.

    query_posts( array ( 'category_name' => 'Portfolio') );

    and then create the new page called Portfolio and assign the new custom page template.
