   Hi

   I am just starting with WordPress, please could you explain things clearly.

   I have a static front page, three other pages and a blog page. The blog page shows all of my posts.

   One of the other pages is to show my portfolio work on. Is there a way of using the blog posting method to upload images, but not to show them on the blog, but show them on another page?

   If you take a look at (it's not wordpress - I'm converting it) you will notice the blog page and the portfolio page.

   Basically, I want some blog posts to not show on the blog page but on the portfolio page instead. Can this be done? Can I do it with showing categories? Something along those lines - hope this is understandable.

   Not too clear on how your 'three other pages' are set up, but the Post Links To plugin might do what you want.

   No, I want to show all category posts on my blog page, with the exception of category 6. I then want, to show category six on the portfolio page.

   Do you have a template for your portfilio page? If so, you can modify the query with a 'cat=6' parameter to show only category 6. If you don't have a specail template you can use the List category posts plugin to assign category 6 to a new page.
