    Hi there,

FOA thx to Josh for this great plugin! I've used quite a few responsive slider plugins and found this one the most flexible and easy to use.
I'm using Meteor Slides for a client site. It was quite easy to make an individual front page (with a slider in an individual "home-slider" sidebar) and to customize the code and styling to match the site design. What I'm getting stuck a bit with is, to find a solution for something more complex. Probably I just don't get that very easy solution directly in front of me so I'll just post the scenario without my specific technical approaches as I believe it's probably a bit easier that way to point me into the right direction:
WordPress is mainly used as a CMS here - not a blog - and devided into several "sections". Due to the fact that I want to use (different) slideshows for the different "sections" of the site (you might call it "sub-homes") this could become a mess if I'd have to set up an individual front page (and/or sidebar) for each individual section. Any suggestions how to solve this most efficient?
I'd guess the most elegant solution would be to provide a select box on each page in the backend - but I'm a bit lost between all the stuff I've read about custom post types, custom fields etc.

    Thx in advance

Hi, if you only have a few slideshows, you can do this using a simple conditional statement instead of the standard slideshow template tag, like this.

If you are going to have several pages with different slideshows and need it to be dynamic, you can add in a bit of code that gets the slug of the page you're on, checks to see if there is a slideshow with the same slug and if there is it loads that, otherwise it loads the default.
