Easing Slider "Lite"

    Hello everyone,
    I have been reading about this thread - showing the slider only on the homepage - and could not find the solution for the theme I am using. I use Pinboard theme and have tried to paste the code on header but it shows on all pages. I do not have in Editor a file called home.php. What do you suggest to do in this case?
    I am quite new to WP and coding.
    Thank you!

    Hi @alina.condret, have you tried using the code below?

    <?php
    if ( is_home() && function_exists('easingsliderlite') ) {
        easingsliderlite();
    }
    ?>

    Any luck with that?

    Yes, I have tried to use that as well in header.php and landing page theme, and it does not show at all...

    Have you tried inside the index.php file?

    Are you sure? Every WordPress theme must have an index.php file - it's compulsory.

    I'm not familiar at all with the theme you are using, and they all differ greatly, so bare with me on this one :)

    I found it, finally!! It was called a different way. But it still does not show. It shows when I paste it in header.php, but it shows on all pages and I want it only on the homepage. Any other suggestions, Matthew? :)
    Which line should I paste it on index.php and which code? Thanks again.

    Would it be possible to contact the developer of your theme? It sounds like the usual methods are not working and it might be best to contact them for support regarding this.

    I really don't have a clue how the theme may be working, but normally is_home() should only be true on your homepage (thus showing the slideshow when the code above is used). If this isn't the case, a different setup is being used, most likely dictated by the path taken by the developer in question.

    I'm not quite sure what you mean by page 1, 2 & 3 @halaycomet. WordPress page's are indexed like this.
