Show preview thumbs of posts

Hello everyone 🙂

For now when I click on a category, I have a list of articles (5 per page) , same thing when I click on a tag (I have simple tags plugin installed)

Now I would like instead to show a list of thumbnails with just the title of the article based on the images I have inside my posts so it would display a list for exampls of 20 thumbs…

Anyone has an idea on how to achieve that ?

I found a “post thumbs” plugin but it seems abandonned (last update in 2006) so could be not compatible with WP 2.3 and doesn’t seem what I look for anyway…

Please give me some hint if you know what I could do in that matter,
