    Hi,

    Now a days almost every plugin is adding a menu item to the admin menu (where post, pages, appearance and CPT are located) to give people access to plugins.

    Is it possible to change who can see these different menu items that are added by the plugins. Maybe in some way override the plugins setting in the functions.php.

    I've looked around on the internet alot and cant find a good solution.

    I know for instance this plugin;
    http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/advanced-access-manager
    is doing the trick but it doesent work for wordpress 3.5 yet.

    And also this one
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/admin-menu-editor/
    But it costs and i figured it gotta be a cheaper way to do this.

    Someone who knows?
