Show parent with children (3 posts)

    Greetings,

Using WP as CMS, I have created a block that appears on each child page and lists all "siblings" under that parent. Thus if you go to the Sacramento page you will see on the right the sub topics for Sacramento. Easier to see than explain:

Where I am stuck: I need that block to list the parent as a heading. (in the example, it needs to say Sacramento over the bulleted News item in the grey square) Otherwise, if you click on News, say, the news page itself does not tell you what city you are under. I'm a fiddler and copy/paster and I'm at the end of my limited resources.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated!

    Nice pic in the header!
You should really get a favicon for the site instead of displaying the host's favicon.

(I always find of bad taste when hosts force their own favicon on every client's site...)

Thank you moshu - That is very slick. And I agree, the favicon musto go.
