Show Parent Category Products & Hide Subcategory Products

    What I’m trying to achieve is a parent category with products as well as a subcategory also with products. Currently the parent category is displaying all of the products under it and not just it’s own products.

    Example of what I’m trying to achieve:

    -Parent Category “Illustration” with print products assigned to it. Page displays the Subcategory thumbnail ONLY (Display type is set to “both”.)
    -Sub “Stationary” with card products assigned to it. Display type set to “products”.

    The products are correctly checked under only one single corresponding category or subcategory so that isn’t the issue.

    Any thoughts on how this can be achieved?
