Show only Post Title, Metadata and excerpt

Hi!

I have a blog running at http://freshvanroot.com/blog
On the homepage, each post is rendered in full details.
I would like to change that to show the Title and its metadata as it is, but only an excerpt of the post instead of the whole posting.
The excerpt should come from the body of the post, just the first few sentences or able to change manually.

Is there a plugin for that? I did not find any options in my WordPress settings!
