My Problem is that i use WordPress as a multisite-blog and i have several pages with the same name on it so it is hard for authors to choose the correct parent page when publishing a new page.

Is it somehow possible to show only the pages from current author when selecting a parent page.

I managed to show only authors pages when looking at all the pages but i cant get this to work.

I have already tried several plugins like User Access Manager, Members, Role Scoper, Adminimize, etc.

    Please help me.

    Greetings Norman Hacker

I really need to solve this because like that nobody can choose the correct parent page and its not posiible to change their names to unique ones.

I know its a really special kind of problem ;)

Aww, this is driving me nuts. I'm looking for the same answer and have tried Advanced Access Manager, Members, Role Scoper, etc as well.

I see that you posted this 5 months ago. Have you found a solution yet?

    Thanks, BaalOrun!

Didnt find a working solution sry. At the End i have had to make every single one a different blog. But it should be possible if you edit the backend properly because the atributes shown on the right are only a wp-list pages which should be editable.

Hey BaalOrun, that's too bad. I'll have to look into it again. I ended up just using Role Scoper and giving people control of a page I make for them. That way they can't add more pages, but they are locked down to editing only one page where they can pretty much do whatever they want. It's a bit cumbersome as I get more and more members/contributors, but the site functions the way I want it to for now.

Right now, I'm trying to customize my site Dashboard appearance, so members have a similar experience to Facebook.

Let me know if you have any advice for me. By the way, here's my website: http://www.xenosource.net. What is yours? Maybe we can help each other out. I've made several posts about different topics and no one ever responds with anything helpful.

    Cheers,
    Xenoflare
