   What I want to achieve is like ma.tt has on his website.
   http://ma.tt/category/gallery/

   I want to attach an album cover (single image) to a post on the frontpage.

   After clicking on this image or the post title it will bring up single.php (the post itself)

   As you may notice the single post shows up and the album cover disappears. At the single post page I only want to display the thumbnails and not the album cover.
