show full blog posts on home page – new gamer theme

    I’ve read tons, tons of other previous posts about this, but I can’t fix mine.
    I want my blog posts to post in full on my home page. The website I’m building is at http://www.tvproductionguy.com

    I’m using “new gamer” theme.

    I’ve checked “full text” under settings, reading.

    I’ve looked at my Appearance, Editor. I see nothing with the word “excerpt”, which others have suggested to turn to “content”.

    Help?

    Fixed it.

    For future lookers.
    After you go to APPEARANCE tab, then EDITOR tab. On the Right hand side of the screen, there are blue sections of your code. (THIS WAS THE MAIN PART I WAS MISSING, there are different sections.)

    Click “MAIN INDEX TEMPLATE”.

    do a word search for “excerpt”.
    change “the_excerpt” to “the_content”

    no. I lied. After closing safari. and reopening my webpage it has reverted back.

    got it working. follow my previous instructions. Just check every tab on the right for your “the_excerpt” code, and change to “the_content”.
