I'm a doctoral student and currently building a blog to be used in my experimental dissertation studies. Because I'm running experiments, I need to be able to control the comments that are visible on the blog. Specifically, I need to limit visible comments in a way that only a comment's author can see his or her comment -- no one else.
Here's what I need: When a user visits the blog, five dummy comments, which I prepared, are visible. Once a user submits a comment, his or her comment is shown along with the five dummy comments. However, after a few minutes, or when another user visits the blog, only the five dummy comments are visible again. The newly submitted comment is stored in the database, but not shown again.
How can this be done? Any pointers are very much appreciated.
