Show Bullet Points in Post Excerpts

    Hi

    I have a child theme and I am using a post to display staff memebers. I want at the start to bullet point their skills. I know how to show on a page the post excerpts but for some reason the post excerpts is stripping out the bullet points and converting them to a sentence.

    i.e this is whats in the first two lines of the post.

    • bullet point 1
    • bullet point 2

      • This is displayed on the page:

      bullet point 1 – bullet point 2

      I can see where the code is making it do this. Can anyone advise where to change this?
