    Hi,
Is it possible to set a width for content area - especially on the ipad.

I can't seem to find a post that covers this problem.

Still working on site, but you'll be able to see what i mean.

    Thanks for all the assistance.

    Hi, Lorraine,

it is possible, but on mobile device it would mean less space for the content. Also, even on normal screen BG looks pretty distracting for the reading, it is very hard to concentrate on the content. Perhaps you could tone it down for 50% or so?

Hi Tomas, could you explain how - I'd really like just a tiny bit of my background scribbles to come through on mobile because my content area is white. especially on ipad.

In the main style.css area you could set body width to 96% and margin to say 5px. See here: https://cloudup.com/ct2iRWSbUUa

later you will have to revert this in 770px media query by setting width to 100% and margin to whatever works.

But in my opinion it is a UX mistake, being web designer sometimes you have to sacrifice coolness factor for the good of user.

    Have you tried this tutorial:

Also check this tip to fix your social icons:

Tip25b - Disable special icons, that marks the links that will open in a new window (style.css) - only in child themes
