    Hello,

    I´ve looked around on the internet how to set an background image on all pages on my site stralendlicht.nu. I found the following CSS code that worked:

    body .site {
    background: url("wp-content/themes/twentytwelve/images/BALLON-LOGO.jpg");
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-position: center top;
    }

    Now I would like to know how I can remove the background image on the homepage only. I'm quite new with CSS and I can't find the right information onbline. I hope someone can help me with this.

    Kind regards,

    Jan

    You need to be using a Child Theme for any modifications to the default theme - as is your changes will be lost when WP is updated. It's also crucial to have a clean copy for troubleshooting.

    Once you do that, someone can likely help you with the CSS.

    Hello WPyogi,

    I'm Using the CSS editor from Jetpack. Can't I solve the problem using CSS editor?

    Or do I need to set up a child theme. If so, I will do this. Please let me know.
