Show all languages posts in multilingual site

Hi,

I’m somewhat stuck in creating in multilingual site with polylang where all posts should be displayed (regardless of their language). Pages should be shown for a selected language only, e.g. French or English, while the posts page, the latest posts’ Customizr-front-page widget, as well as the Search/Archive/Recent Posts’ widgets should all show posts in all languages.

Posts page working: Tweaked loop (in index.html) of Customizr so that all posts are show on the posts page (as described in polylang’s documentation).
Widgets not working: I tried (to update) the (deprecated) “Polylang displays all posts” plugin and altered polylangs’s fronted.php in oder to stop filtering secondary queries — no success.

Is there a way to switch off frontend filtering of posts only and how? I’m looking for a multilingual setup with polylang for pages/menu/etc. but to always include all posts.
