   Hello,

   I am working on a blog on behalf of the owner. I'm trying to get the site to show a static page by default, which I can do in the Settings -> Reading section.

   However when I click on 'Blog' to show the blog posts its also showing the static page there too.

   Is it possible to show a static page on the homepage and then when clicking a link to a blog it shows the recent posts?

   Thanks for any help.

   you will need to create an empty page called "Blog"
   then in
   admin - settings - reading
   set the the Blog page to handle your blog posts
