Should wordpress be migrating the Admin UI to the front end content area?

I really dont see a problem with this. Doesn't it seem like a better idea to build a WYSIWYG mangement system?

Really, there isn't any need to load any CSS at all for the admin UI. It should all be done pretty clean, and styled a bit by the theme itself.

I have found a few new CMS systems already that are 100% based on front end management. I hope wordpress does something soon, because, its really just very hard for 90% of users to even try to use the WP admin ui...

  2. We have a feature-as-plugin for front end editing: http://make.wordpress.org/ui/2013/09/14/front-end-editor/

But there's a lot of WP that wouldn't do this very well without forcing all plugins and themes to redo a lot, so ... probably not every 100%
