dchawcroftI just posted looking for help about my registration function not working on ploverpark.com/blog but I've been struck by another question - perhaps I should delete it entirely?
I've never done it before but I checked and poked about and found I could post a comment without being registered, without even providing a valid email address or site URL. It went to me (as admin) for moderation. I passed it.
And I read somewhere in these forums that registration allows virtually nothing but basic posting anyway. So perhaps I'd be better off - the readers would be better off - if I took it away as an option ( I can do that I guess?) and instead put an explanatory text about how to post comments.
Because that's not too intuitive - clicking on the words 'no comments' - fooled me for a while.
And there's another thing - after posting a comment I found myself stuck on that page... the comments page... with nothing I could do but submit the comment.. which I'd already done... surely that's not right?
