To be honest I dont really know what pinging means, but theres 1 pinging service built into wordpress.
I update my blog maybe 20 times a day, so I dont know if this is too often for the pinging services.
I added the huge list more and when I submitted it took a loong time to load up again.
So should I just use 1, or should I use them all?

The default one pings a bunch of others. For most folks, I'm sure it's just fine. If you use too many services that all ping the same places, you'll get dropped/ignored pretty quickly.
As far as what it all "means", have a look at Update_Services and see if that helps a bit.

ah ok.
UHOH...I used all those pinging services and updated maybe 15-20 times with them.
will I get dropped now, or do they need way more before they will drop?
I went back to the progional and will stick with that.
