Hi there..
I wrote a Wp gallery plugin pretty much for my own needs.. It is heavy implemented into the WP structure.
It uses pages for categories and albums and therefor also the original WP comment system to comment on pictures. It is integrated in the url system of WP just like pages are.
You can show random images, last comments, last pics and last albums on the sidebar..
If some people say, hey, that's great!, i would try to make a "real" plugin..
Well, check it out on animalbeach.net/photography !
cheers, naabster
There's no shortage of photo plugins for wordpress, however all of them have advantages and disadvantages. Therefore one more would always be welcome, since everybody has different needs when it comes to putting their photos on their blogs. I say to try to make it a plugin, if you can.
Looks like you made each category into a collection and then make each photo a separate post? Neat approach.
Hi,
I love it and yes, that would be a nice release to have.
That's pretty nifty. I'd like the plugin!
Smart. It seems that you have solved some problems I had with myGallery.

I like it, I like it a lot. If it has integrated upload to albums from a post/page creation, I's say it's a winner. Pluginize it with a options page and it would be rather snazzy.

I am working on the option pages, resize functions and plugin installation now.
I hope I can get a first version soon. For testing and stuff..

Hey, GREAT NEWS! I really want to try that one.
I still like the way ive done my images on the new mEm site, using the inline upload you can of course send them to the editor like normal but they are linked via Lightbox2 :) like so
http://www.mem-gaming.co.uk/v2/index.php/cs-japan-namco-csneo/
Or you can ince again use inline upload and flag the post as showing attached files and then it will display them at the end of the post again via lightbox2
http://www.mem-gaming.co.uk/v2/index.php/category/cal-europe
You can even do both - and they will all link together with no duplicates :D
