   Hola,
   I am thinking about changing some of my category slugs. Most of them will simply get renamed, a few will go away.

   while one of my category slugs right now reads /category/news-feed/, I want it to read category/food-news/. Do I need to redirect the old slugs to the new slugs for the purposes of SEO or will google and the other guys handle it without a problem?

   Thanks Shane! It looks useful; however, I don't use the category tag in my permalink structure... so this might be overkill. I use a redirection plugin that would allow me to redirect the category ... i'm just not sure if that's a good thing to do or not.
