Shorten2Ping has stopped working

    Have been using the plugin successfully for several months. It worked for the May 5th blog update but since then is only working with Ping.fm. The updates aren’t being posted to Twitter.

    Nothing has changed with my Twitter account, which leads me to wonder if something has changed with the Twitter API; a change that is affecting the plugin.

    Anyone else having issues?

    It’s supposed to be a change in the Twitter API soon, but is not done yet as far as I know…

    If you can provide any other info, maybe I can help you.

    Thanks. What additional information would you like?

    I’ve always had the plugin set to publish both to Twitter and ping.fm. It has always worked until after I did the most recent upgrade. Now it only publishes to ping.fm.

    Check the custom fields for the post affected and look for a “twitter_error” if any post it here.

    I checked each post (including the last one Shorten2Ping posted to Twitter). None of them have a “twitter_error” (or any other error) in the custom fields.
