   Hi

   I have read through alot of page length posts on this forum but i cant find the answer.

   Can someone explain how i shorten the page length so that there is not lots of whitespace between the end of the text and the footer.

   If i set the container to a max-length it cuts off text on other pages. Can this be done on individual pages ?

   there have some HTML formatting issue. check via XHTML validator.

   Hi

   Thanks for both replies. Im new to wordpress and as much as my site works and has no alignment issues in any browser there are lots of validation errors.

   Do i need to fix these errors for any reason other than my own piece of mind?

   I was only complaining about the length of 1 page on my site.

   It seems alot of the errors are due to the html i create on the wordpress pages but when i look at the html it seems correct.

   Is there any advice out there to proceed ?
