Shortcodes not working with filters (6 posts)

    I know I have contacted you elsewhere about this but thought it useful to put it here as well...

    There is an issue with the [documents] shortcode - works fine to show all documents, but if you add any filters or custom taxonomies (like yours) it just ignores them and does not work.

    Have had to resort to using "DISPLAY POSTS SHORTCODE" - which kind of works (thanks goodness) but would be better to use the native shortcode rather than installing yet another plugin.

    Same Issue for me, the filters for the shortcodes are not working.

    @nampara17 and @holzhannes:
    Yes, this seems now a known issue for the base plugin "WP Document Revisions" which has issues with the Shortcode parameters regarding taxonomy values.

    In the meantime please use this plugin "Display Posts Shortcode": http://wordpress.org/plugins/display-posts-shortcode/ --- and see its Wiki pages here: https://github.com/billerickson/display-posts-shortcode/wiki for documentation... )

    It might help a bit...

    I am currently working on an update of my plugin and will then integrate a special taxonomy shortcode that should work then hopefully.

    Sorry for that. I cannot say at the moment what the cause of it is: changes in WordPress core, in base plugin WPDR, or whatever. Extensive testing on my behalf did show nothing so far. Therefore I decided for adding my own little additional shortcode.

    Thanks, Dave :)

    Hi

    Another MAJOR issue. None of the security works!

    I have a document outside public_html. It's encrypted correctly and not accessible via . and ..\ etc. But if I know the direct URL to the document I can log out and enter the URL in the address bar and presto - up comes the document.

    HELP! PLEASE...

    btw - the display posts shortcode works great.

    I'm pulling my hair out with this security thing though. Installed the 'members' plugin. put a document into a group. logged out and can still access the document via the url :(
