Can shortcodes be included in the CSS?
I want to place a slideshow in the header of my home page. The layout I am working with has the logo overlapping the slideshow.
I thought that if I could included the short code for the slideshow in the CSS that I could treat it as a background.

If I can't do this, I understand I can place the shortcode in the header template. But how do I get the logo image to overlap.
You can see what I am trying to do at http://www.raiseyoursite.com But now the background image is a static one that is referred to in the header styles. Can I replace it with a slideshow?

then is it possible to overlap the logo image over the slideshow? I didn't think that was possible unless one element was a background image

possibly check css positioning http://www.w3schools.com/Css/css_positioning.asp and z-index http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_pos_z-index.asp

try to work with a browser tool such as Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ to see which styles are involved.
