I've just installed PMPro and loving it so far. I wanted to add a side widget with "news/updates" that only paid members would be able to see. It's inside a txt widget box. For some reason everyone can see the short code, and I can't figure out why. I'm hoping someone can take a look and tell me what I'm missing.

    Thanks,

    Hi Loralee,

The code you need is here: http://www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/advanced-techniques/require-membership-function/

Use the PHP code rather than shortcodes outside of posts // pages.

    cheers,

It does say that shortcodes work in posts/pages and widget areas. Do you think that's a mistype? Or maybe just related to my theme?

I'll dig into the php but because this is a super short turn around project I'd like to avoid it if at all possible.

Thanks for your quick reply earlier.

    Loralee,
Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro. I took a look at your site. Were you able to resolve this? I didn't see the shortcode displaying for general visitors.
