short code headings not recognized

    Rookie question I’m sure, but I could not find an answer:

    YOAST SEO plugin does not seem to recognize short code [title size=”2″] subheadings, but if I switch to html <h2> it does.

    Do the search engines recognized shortcoded headings the same as html headings?

    Sorry if my ignorance is showing.
