Shopping Cart Plug-In with MANDATORY text input

New to using Shopping carts in WP, and need to choose a plug-in that offers one specific function:

Buyers *MUST* be required to enter data into a mandatory text field before the purchase is completed through PayPal.

Is this sort of thing a standard feature of all shopping cart plug-ins, or can someone recommend one that can specifically do this? Thanks.

For the curious, this is for a school website that needs to sell items that will be delivered to the student, thus we must have the student name. Parent name and address (which would be easy to collect simply through a PayPal “Buy it Now” button) is insufficient.
