How hard is it to get a shopping cart onto your wordpress blog? I'm very familiar with wordpress and plugins but I've never needed a shopping cart. Is it as simple as installing a plugin? How do you know if your site is secure with the shopping cart?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

A lot of people use WP eCommerce, but there are a few good plugins. Try a google search for "WordPress Shopping Cart Plugin". The SSL/HTTPS certificate would be through your web host. Read http://codex.wordpress.org/Administration_Over_SSL
