   I've got a .swf file x-shockwave-flash on my site and can't play it in ff altough i've got adobe flashplayer installed.
   is there some plugin I have to install?

   Yes, there's no flash player included in WordPress (GPL, y'know)

   Try Viper's Video Quicktags.

   thanks for the quick respons but Viper's Video Quicktags doesn't make it work

   thanks will give it a try
   A friend of mine also using ff hadd no trouble letting the flashgame work so perhaps I need to reinstall my ff!
