The shop is not setup to ask the user for billing or shipping information,
rather it uses the info provided by PayPal. However, since upgrading WPEC to 3.8.14 it is no longer prompting the user to choose (or enter) shipping
information. We’re using PayPal Payments Standard 2.0.

I do not know why your posts were being deleted; my guess is some sort of spam filter. I never received any feedback and it’s still an issue. As a work around, we’re forced to ask the user for their shipping information in our cart before we send the customer to PayPal.

OK, thanks. Very frustrating as I posted this 3 times … and the little matter of the cart not working. Considering paying for their support but the fact they’re letting people hang for a week makes me a little nervous.

No bumping, thank you. If you require assistance then, as per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic instead of tagging onto someone else’s topic.

I have exactly the same issue and my understanding of forum etiquette is that I should post in an already created topic asking about the same issue.

Where did you get that idea? These forums have guidelines. Please read them. As you will see, one of these guidelines – entitled Where to Post – specifically states:

Unless you are using the same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme & configurations as the original poster, do not post in someone else’s thread. Start your own topic.

    Please abide by this.

There is a setting in payment > PayPal options…

    Send shipping details Yes/No

    Try that

Sorry, no. That’s the opposite of what we want to do. We want it to act as it did prior to upgrading to 3.8.14, where PayPal would send us the user’s shipping info (from PayPal itself). It’s much more convenient for users, as they can just use their default info and not have to re-enter anything on our site.
