    I wish I could show you guys more than just this. However, I may eventually be migrating the design to their public site... so I might just have a real link for you all to look at in the future. ^_^
    Any ideas on more stuff I can do with that left side menu (to spice it up a bit... it's rather plain), I'll gladly read them.

    What I have tried to do on my blog and at least got started someways on the process is to examine the information architecture. In particular the menu and header areas are absolutely prime real estate. I am slowly moving good relevant new stuff upwards and all the other junk downwards. Before I started my menu was like a laundry list. There are endless techniques which can be used , the starting point for me was recognising what I thought needed to be done. That might be an area that would pay dividends for you. But these things take time to understand. Living with it for a while will help. But Good Luck to the fine folks there anyway. And Welcome to WordPress. Nice effort.
