[resolved] Sharing buttons for store pages in coupon site (4 posts)

I would like to share buttons for coupon posts and store pages.

Coupon post has been enabled as the option is provided in the option but i am not sure how to do it for store pages.

I would like to add the sharing button on all the stores such that they appear along with the store image and description (after / before the store URL). see - http://www.couponminister.in/stores/jabong/

Currently, i have placed normal buttons in a text box in the widget section.

In case the store methodology is tricky for a non-technical person like me, a simple way of inserting in a text box would be fine.

    WordPress - 3.5
    Latest version of plugin
    Theme - clipper
    Site - http://www.couponminister.in

    Looking forward to your response.
    Thanks!

I just added a shortcode option to the latest version of the plugin (1.5). I think that may be you are looking for. I'm not sure how you are adding the current sharing links, but you can implement the shortcode by placing [wpsocialite] in the content of the post.

Alternatively, you can add the template tag to your theme and have it appear within the loop anywhere you please:

    <?php wpsocialite_markup('large'); ?>

Hope this helps, let me know if that answers your question.

    Hi Tom,

    Thanks for your prompt response.

Unfortunately, i am not much of a coding person and its difficult for me to understand where to paste this code to make it happen.

I would like to add the share buttons after the store description and URL along with the top image, instead of adding it normally in a widget on the right hand side. (See - http://www.couponminister.in/stores/travelguru/)

Not sure if it is a good idea to ask you about a theme which you may not about. However, if you have any clue about adding these code in wordpress clipper theme by appthemes, it would be awesome. I have though added it to all the coupons i have shared and have loved your plugin. Just would now like to take it to all my store pages, instead of only coupon posts. Would really appreciate if you can provide it in a step wise manner, if possible.

    Cheers!
