   I'm a MySQL No0bee and I was wondering, Is it possible to share 1 database for multiple blogs under different sub-domains? if so, how do i do that? and what settings do i put up on the MySQL Database) (# of tables, etc.) How much space does 1 database occupy? is 10mb enough?

   Yes, it is. Just ensure you have a different table prefix for each installation. As for database size, 10mb is plenty to begin with.

   If your gonna use WordPress, why not use WordPress Mu? One database for unlimited blogs...

   is there an advantage to using one database for multiple wp installs?

   for example, if i had a couple of installs across subdomains using the same db, would a search across any _one_ of the sites return results across all?
