Shared ssl conundrum (2 posts)

I tried using the "official Admin SSL plugin" but that didn't seem to work.

I can set the WordPress url to https://maindomain.com/~user/wpdirectory/
and define force ssl login true or force ssl admin true.

But then any media uploaded winds up being loaded from https://maindomain.com/~user/ etc..

Anybody have any ideas or a working solution?

    Thanks, Bill

Ok changing the https to http in the WordPress url fixed the file being saved with https when uploaded.

Although it's still referencing the file with maindoamin.com/~userver

Also the bigger problem now is with the redirection. When I go to userdomain.com/wpdirectory/wp-admin it redirects to: http://maindomain.com/~user/wpdirectory/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http://userdomain.com/wpdirectory/wp-admin/&reauth=1
