   i installed the "share this plugin" my question now is how do i remove the "share this" icon in some pages like the contact page

   In the readme file you will find the solution. You need to disable the automatic insert and put the required code only in the template files where you want the thing to appear.

   Having also recently installed the ShareThis plugin, I would also like to know how to remove the "ShareThis" icon link from certain pages such as my Contact and About pages.

   Unfortunately, I am a complete neophyte when it comes to coding, so I wouldn't have the slightest clue as to how that would be accomplished. Could someone provide the relevant coding and where it needs to be placed? I know the ID numbers for my pages if those need to be incorporated.

   I've copy/pasted the code from the sharethis.php below (assuming that's what needs to be altered).

   Thanks in advance for any help in this matter!

   We recognize that this is a problem with our 2.0 release, and we are working to fix this in the form a new version. This new version will have an added feature permitting you to easily disable the automatic insert and manually insert the ShareThis button wherever you wish.

   Do you know what the release date will be for the update of the ShareThis plugin?

   Also, when you say the update will allow me to insert the ShareThis button wherever I wish, does that also include anywhere on a given posting, i.e., at the top of the posting versus at the bottom of the posting?
