I just installed WordPress inside my website for blogging. I now see the text "Share:" on my homepage (not WordPress) above the page template. How do I get rid of this please? It appears only on the homepage.
Thanks very much.

Where did you install WordPress on your domain?
WordPress is installed here:
http://www.lg-golf.com/blog/
Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
- I do not have any plugins active
- the Twenty Eleven Theme does not change anything
- resetting the plugins folder does not appear to have changed the issue.
Thanks for your thoughts esmi. If you can think of anything else......

What makes you think that WordPress is the cause of your problem? Where are you using share buttons on your domain?
You are right - I never noticed it before but it is visible on my backup copy on my computer also. Just so happens to be a bit of rogue text inside the head tags from when I added the share buttons.... sheesh
Thanks very much for the pointer - appreciate it.
Glad you managed to resolve it, anyway :-)
