Hello, I've had a certain problem for a number of weeks now, and no one has stopped to help. I needed help with the shadowbox js plugin. For anyone using this, do you know how I can get the videos to play. I have this website http://AlFatir.com/blog/videos and if you click the link you will see the shadowbox open but the video never plays. Anyone know what I can do to fix this, the problem doesn't exist with photos but just videos.

Posted 10 months ago #yes, if you go back and look now you'll see the same thing happening. i changed the link and still won't work. is there something i should be doing to the settings?

Posted 10 months ago #It looks like you changed the link TEXT, but not the URL address as well. Try changing that and post back.

Posted 10 months ago #You ARE THE MAN, You don't understand how much i appreciate that. thanks for your help. can i ask where you found the link without the "watch" in it, and also, if i want to make the video auto play, do i click that on the share button on youtube?

As for where I found the link, I think YouTube used to have a place to copy the URL but now it's more complicated. These days, I just grab the 'watch' link and edit to to the other format; Takes 2 seconds.
For autoplay, I think there's a setting in the options panel for Shadowbox JS to turn on autoplay.
Make sure to mark your post resolved when you're sure everything's working too.
