Several final formatting help requests…

I think that my main problem is ignorance about terms. I know what I want, but don’t know how to look for it in the codex or anywhere else, so I will try to express what I want as clearly as possible.

Those of you that can understand my newbie ravings, please have mercy and just show me the links where I can find directions as to how to do a few things on my site. Please 🙂 help me to find out how:

1. I would like 5 or 6 line samples of the latest postings with their titles on the main page, which, when clicked on, will take the reader to the rest of the post, with the option to see all of the postings in sample form, in time order.

2. I would like to put a free download link to a pdf file or a series of lessons on video or audio right after each post, and the link is relevant to the post.

3. After the download link, I want to put the first 3 or 4 approved comments to appear, with a clickable link to any more comments.

4. On the right sidebar, I would like for the archive list to be put there by month and subject, and then, right next to the relevant post on the main page, some banners of items that I am selling as an affiliate. I would also like for these items to follow the post if the reader wants to read the entire post.

5. I would like to be able to use the secondary pages for education related affiliate offers, so that I can write why I think the offer is worthwhile.

6. Finally, I would like to place a membership squeeze box on the main page in the right sidebar, and perhaps another one to pop up for new visitors and/or non members.
