    Hi Yoast,

I’ve been a happy user of your plugin for the last few months but suddenly, I’m unable to import my previously exported settings. Having dozens of blogs, this is a very important feature for me. Following your protocol:

    – Problem still persists when using the developers version
    – I looked around the forums, several other people are having the same problem HOWEVER, they are using WPMU while I’m facing this problem on a single, simple wordpress install
    – Problem still persists even on a fresh WP 3.51 install without any other plugins/themes

    WordPress version: 3.51
WordPress SEO version: 1.3.4.4 and 1.4.3

I did this: Activated plugin. Tried to import settings from another blog but got the following error: “Settings could not be imported: Upload failed.”. INTERESTINGLY, this worked on dozens of blogs with a similar setup on te same host before without any problems.

I expected the plugin to do this: Import the settings like I used to do it without any problems for the last 3 months on dozens of blogs using your plugin (they are not WPMU blogs)

Instead it did this: throw up the error mentioned above.

IMPORTANT additional info: Just for testing purposes, I tried to export the settings from the blog that’s having trouble with importing. Exporting wouldn’t work either! I’d get the following error message:

Warning: fopen(/home/myname/public_html/mydomain.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/settings.ini) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/myname/public_html/mydomain.com/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/admin/class-config.php on line 235

So the error clearly has to do with permissions, however I never set or denied any and as I said, no WPMU blog here.

Any idea how to fix this?

    Regards,
    Alex
