Setting Text Widget Height to 100% (2 posts)

    Hi,

    I'm trying to use the text widget on my sidebar but since the content in the text widget is no where near the same height as the content section of the page, the two appear next to each other like some sort of upside down bar graph. It's pretty frustrating.

    Does anyone know how to set the text widget's height so that it is always the same as the content section of a page?

    It can't really be done that way without some javascript enhancements. Its not how CSS works. A common way to make a sidebar look the same height as the content area is to fake it using a technique called faux columns - applying a background image to the containing div that wraps both the content and sidebar areas.
