Setting Product Image Size (4 posts)

    Ok, I know this is fairly simple yet I'm not the only one having this issue...at least among the users of the particular theme I've chosen. I'm using CAMP which is a pretty rad little theme and I'm trying to display my pictures on the Single Product page without any cropping whatsoever. They are longer images, 400 wide x 536 high. Here are the steps I've taken to accommodate my images, all with no success:

    I've gone into functions.php and have changed:

    add_image_size('product', 400, 536, false);
    add_image_size('product-single', 400, 536, false);

    I have WooCommerce-Settings-Catalog and have set Single Product images to 400x536 with no hard crop.

    Now, this is not working at all for me. The image appears un-cropped but there is a ton of white space to the right as the image appears left justified in it's placeholder. You can check it out here. The site is not live yet and I haven't done any other customization to it.

    I'm racking my brain over this...I would either love for the image to be center within it's placeholder or have the placeholder be the exact size. I'm changing the things that the theme developer has said to, yet it's not working.

    Cheers,
    JC

    Hmmmm I believe this is a simple CSS issue...You should be able to just change your width to auto because currently your theme is setting a specified width to that container.

    So you should be able to just add/change something like this:

    #container-sidebar .grid3columnbig {width:auto;}

    Royho, I had thought it could just be a CSS issue but the Developer kept saying it had to do with the size of the image uploaded and the settings in the functions.php. I will try that later today and let you know!

    Cheers!

    So, that did the trick however, the right <div class="grid3column lastcolumn"> is not aligned to the right anymore (which, I thought would happen). Since I changed that placeholder, is it going to be possible to align the price/weight/type to the right where it was before?

    Thanks for your help btw...solid!
