   Hi,

   In the Reading Settings Panel I have set the Front Page to be static page.

   Now however, I have two top navigation links wihich are the same.

   How do I remove one?

   Also how do I edit the footer text? I edited footer.php but changes not reflected.

   You will need to edit your theme's header.php template file and remove the hard-coded Home link.

   Also how do I edit the footer text?

   By editing footer.php. Remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing an updated page/site. Or try emptying your browser cache. This should ensure that your web browser fetches a fresh copy of the page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from your own cache.

   Also disable/deactivate any caching plugin(s).

   Seems I have to edit the functions.php page for the footer as well.
