Setting a new homepage

1. Create a “page”
2. Visit domain/wp-admin/options-reading.php in your admin interface
3. Select “A static page (select below)”
4. Then find the page you want for your “Front page”
5. Select a “Posts page”

Hi:

I did this already, but it results in tabs for “Home” and also a tab for the static page. In other words, I have TWO tabs that go to the SAME page. Can I remove one tab?

I seem to remember being able to do this in a previous version, but can’t find it now…
