I have my theme set up so that there is a custom field called “Thumbnail” where I enter the URL of the image I want to use as a thumbnail to display on my main page. My problem is that when I don’t specify one as “Thumbnail” it will put every single image that is in the post on the main page. Rather annoying. Anyone know how to make it so that for a post without “Thumbnail” specified it will just show the first image?

Here is an example of a page where some posts have a “Thumbnail” and some don’t. http://www.flashfloodmedia.net/page/5/

    Thanks!

What theme are you using? Are you comfortable w/ modifying the PHP code for the theme?

Depending on how the list of images is being displayed, you might be able to turn off the display of the ones after the first.
